Presswash C
CPS Presswash C is a low-hazard product suitable for removing ink from screens during or after the print run. It can be used with all ink types to open image areas during printing, or to clean ink from screens that will be reused. Although Presswash C is not as fast evaporating a product as some screen openers, it will not leave a greasy residue on the stencil. Simply apply to the screen with a cloth and allow to evaporate before continuing the print run.
Presswash P140
CPS Presswash P140 is a very low odor product for use as a screen cleaner during a print run or afterwards, when the screen will be kept for reuse. It is effective at removing all types of screen printing inks, has a high flashpoint, and is the slowest evaporating of the CPS Press Washes. Once it evaporates, CPS Presswash P140 will not leave a greasy residue.
Presswash UV
Presswash UV is a low-hazard product that is designed to remove UV inks from screens during or after the print run. It is an excellent solvent blend for on-press use, particularly at companies trying to minimize the use of harmful solvents as screen openers. Apply to the screen with a clean cloth and allow to evaporate before resuming printing. CPS Presswash UV will evaporate without leaving a greasy residue. This product can also be used as a screen cleaner after the print run, whenever the screens are going to be kept and reused. Note: CPS Presswash UV is not recommended for use on one-part photopolymer (SBQ) emulsions and stencil films.
Screen Opener K2
Screen Opener K2 is used at the press to open dried-in image areas during print runs. Unlike competitive screen openers that can actually make ink staining worse, K2's unique formula helps to minimize staining during the print run. Simply apply K2 to the affected area of the screen with a rag or screen wipe. Dries quickly to facilitate resumption of printing. Screen Opener K2 is recommended for use with solvent based inks and 2-part ink systems.
