GRAVURE
GRAVURECarbon Tissue

G25 and G35 grade carbon tissues are distributed as unsensitised pigmented gelatine coatings on a high quality photographic base paper. They are designed to be used for the production of photomechanical etching resists for the manufacture of gravure cylinders and plates by the chemical etching process. The products require manual sensitising to render them light sensitive for exposure to gravure screens and positives.

Autofilm

Autofilm G25 is a pigmented gelatine coating on a dimensionally stable clear polyester support. The product requires sensitising and drying on an Autofilm Sensitising Machine. The resultant film is used for the production of photomechanical etching resists, as for carbon tissues, but the machine sensitising gives a more consistent level of sensitivity and the polyester backing gives excellent dimensional stability in use.
