Where high quality exotic finishes (piano black, pearlescent, metallic or sophisticated patterns) are required with illuminated or printed graphics in switch packs, seat controls, or dashboards. The Film Insert Moulding process is uniquely suited to delivering a solution. If the part has curves, drawn profiles or button apertures XtraForm is able to supply all the functionality required while meeting the demanding automotive requirements for durability. Where components must have match mating parts, the FIM process is able to deliver very tight colour control. With good part design it is possible to mix both texture (Aquatex) and colour finishes on one component with very tight graphic control.
